Loft Law Photographs by Joshua Charow opens at Westwood Gallery NYC on May 16, 2024


Artist Joshua Charow explores and photographs the loft studios in New York City that have been protected by loft law since 1982 and the dwindling number of artists who still live in these industrial spaces. Anne Mason, Frank Mason’s widow is featured in the exhibition and accompanying book titled “Loft Law: The Last of New York’s Original Artist Lofts”, by Joshua Charow, and published by Damiani Books, Italy. 

The exhibition runs from May 16 - June 29, 2024 at Westwood Gallery, New York City





















Artist Brie Ruais Dazzles with Exhibition “ONENESS”


In Oneness, Ruais’ new solo exhibition at upper Lawrenceville’s Contemporary Craft, the ceramicist and textile artist puts a great deal of trust in viewers. The Tomayko Foundation is a sponsor of the Solo Elevation Series at Contemporary Craft.

Inside a soon-to-be-gone ‘magic’ atelier — where Salvador Dalí partied in NYC


For half a century beginning in 1958, the painter Frank Herbert Mason used the fifth story of 385 Broome St. as his atelier, filling the cavernous, uninsulated floor-through loft with his life, work and memories from star-studded soirees.
