Now Accepting Proposals: 2024 Performing Arts Sponsorship

The Tomayko Foundation announces its request for proposals for 2024 sponsorships in the focus area of performing arts. Each year, the Tomayko Foundation provides support for one organization who is working with living artists or an individual working on an independent project to create new performative work. Organizations with a strong performing arts program and individuals who are working on independent performance projects for 2024 or early in 2025 are welcome to submit applications.

Applications are accepted until March 1, 2024

Engineering and Fine Arts

The Tomayko Foundation is proud to support the work of students in the Pittsburgh region who are pursuing higher education in the fields of Engineering and the Arts. The foundation supports students at universities across the city.

These include:


Contemporary and Emerging Artists

The foundation presents several awards to contemporary and emerging artists who live and work in the Pittsburgh region.

These include:
    • The Tomayko Foundation Award ($5,000)
    • Emerging Artist Award ($1,000)
    • Merit Awards for exhibiting artists in Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and National Association of Women Artists shows
    • Choreography Awards at Point Park University made twice annually (Read the press release)


The Foundation supports sponsorships opportunities for visual and performing arts for new works, projects, or performances. Contact the Foundation for 2024 sponsorship opportunities.*  

Contemporary Craft

From 2024-2026, The Tomayko Foundation will provide a sponsorship for presentations of individual artists at Contemporary Craft.

Tomayko Solo Artist Elevation Series
    • 2024: ONENESS, Brie Ruais (February 2, 2024 - May 4, 2024)
