Engineering and Fine Arts
The Tomayko Foundation is proud to support the work of students in the Pittsburgh region who are pursuing higher education in the fields of Engineering and the Arts. The foundation supports students at universities across the city.
These include:
- Carnegie Mellon University in the fields of software engineering and the arts
- Point Park University in the fields of theater, dance, and film
- University of Pittsburgh in the fields of museum studies and art history
Awards
Contemporary and Emerging Artists
The foundation presents several awards to contemporary and emerging artists who live and work in the Pittsburgh region.
These include:
- The Tomayko Foundation Award ($5,000)
- Emerging Artist Award ($1,000)
- Merit Awards for exhibiting artists in Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and National Association of Women Artists shows
- Choreography Awards at Point Park University made twice annually (Read the press release)
Sponsorship
2024 Performing Arts Sponsorship
The Tomayko Foundation offers a performing arts sponsorship to support a performance being performed in the Pittsburgh area in 2024.
Contemporary Craft
From 2024-2026, The Tomayko Foundation will provide a sponsorship for presentations of individual artists at Contemporary Craft.
Tomayko Solo Artist Elevation Series
